support. There are four types of Green Pin chains available – Green Pin Tycan Lifting Chain, Green
Pin Tycan Lashing Chain, Green Pin Lifting Chain, and Green Pin Lifting Chain EN8181-2. The Green
Pin Tycan lifting and lashing chains are both made from Dyneema, are soft and eight times lighter
than steel, and are non-corrosive. While the other 2 lifting chains are grade 10 and grade 8 quality

Types of Green Pin Chains
- Green Pin Tycan Lifitng Chain: Green Pin Tycan Lifitng Chains are created from the world’s strongest
man-made fiber, Dyneema. It is a link chain that has all the performance and flexibility of a steel chain
but is a fraction of the weight. It is extremely safe to use, non-corrosive, non-conductive, and completely
waterproof. It is available with a working load limit of 2.7 tons, 4 tons, 5 tons, 6.8 tons, and 10.3 tons.
- Green Pin Tycan Lashing Chain: Green Pin Tycan Lashing Chains are also created from Dyneema and are
strong, durable, and eight times lighter. They are safe to use, non-corrosive, non-conductive, and
completely waterproof. The soft touch and light weight make these chains easy to use, allow quicker
application, and reduce the potential damage to cargo. It is available with a lashing capacity of 10 tons
and 13.6 tons.
- Green Pin Lifting Chain: The Green Pin Lifting chain is a grade 10 lifting chain. The lifting chain
can be delivered in complete drums. The Green Pin Lifting Chain is available in a range from 6 mm up to 20
mm.
- Green Pin Lifting Chain EN818-2: The Green Pin Lifting Chain EN818-2 is a grade 8 lifting according
to European standards for lifting chains in short links. They can be delivered in complete drums or cut
lengths from a diameter of 22 mm on request. These chains are available in a range from 6 mm up to 32 mm.
